Dry Fork Campground Area

Along the banks of the scenic Dry Fork Creek, the Dry Fork Campground Area is located within Governor Bebb MetroPark in Okeana OH, and includes 15 individual/family campsites, six with electric hookup. Playground, water and non-flush restrooms are within walking distance of the campground.

Located in the Dry Fork Campground with a 25’ parking pad

Located in the Dry Fork Campground with a 30 amp hook-up & 40’ parking pad

GENERAL CAMPGROUND RULES

  • Check-In at 3:00 p.m. and Check-Out 12:00 p.m. day of departure
  • Alcoholic Beverages are PROHIBITED in this park.
  • Fires are permitted only in stoves, grills, or in designated areas.
  • NEVER LEAVE FIRES UNATTENDED. Do not move fire rings.
  • Water is available at hydrant in front of Park Manager’s office.
  • All sites include picnic table and fire ring.
  • Use of firearms and fireworks is strictly prohibited in all areas of the park.
  • Walk-in campers are welcome; however, sites reserved in advance will be marked. If walk-in campers occupy a reserved site, they will have to move to an unoccupied site.
  • There is NO Dump Station at this park.
  • Camping is permitted in designated areas only and is limited to no more than 14 days within a 30 day period.
  • Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash, no longer than 6’ in length. Please clean up after your pets.
  • Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Electronic devices and voices must be kept down to a minimum so as not to disturb others.
  • Any person under 18 years of age wanting to reserve an individual campsite must have written consent of parent or guardian. The written consent shall include full name and address of parent or legal guardian, a telephone number where parent or guardian can be reached at all times, the park location, and camping dates.
  • Firewood must be purchased from MetroParks for $5/bundle. To purchase in advance, call 513.867.5835 during office hours. It can also be purchased at the park from park staff or rangers. Invasive pests, such as the Emerald Ash Borer, can destroy our forests. To minimize this danger, movement of firewood in or out of all MetroParks is prohibited.
