Along the west bank of Indian Creek and part of the 135-acre scenic natural area comprised of wooded hillsides, wetlands, bluffs with rock outcroppings and bottom lands, the varied landscape of native trees and a wide variety of wildflowers provide a backdrop for wildlife and hiking trails. A playground and the reservable Mayer Picnic Shelter can be accessed from this entrance to the park.
