Chrisholm Historic Farmstead
This 17-acre historic property was donated to the park district by Cincinnati Gas & Electric and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The Farmstead includes the historic Augspurger House, the Rosemont Barn and a shelter. Click here for rental rates for the Rosemont Barn and the Chrisholm shelter.
Built in 1874, the Augspurger House was the home of Samuel Augspurger and his family. The Augspurgers were the leading members of the Amish-Mennonite settlement in this area. A large bank barn is also preserved and restored at this site. The restoration efforts of the house and barn have been supported by The Friends of Chrisholm. For more information about the Augspurger Family, the Amish-Mennonite settlement and the history of Chrisholm please visit the Chrisholm Historic Farmstead website.
*Note: The first floor of the Augspurger House is wheelchair accessible.
