Launch Your Own Watercraft

There is no charge to launch hand-carried watercraft at the VOA Lake.

MetroParks opened an adaptive kayak launch in 2021 whic is FREE to use. The ADA-compliant launch was funded by a $75,000 Paddling Enhancement Grant from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. The adaptive kayak launch utilizes a series of ramps, handrails and platforms to assist those with varying mobility needs to launch canoes, kayaks and other hand-powered watercraft into VOA Lake.
