Seasonal Park Closures
The following facilities are closed and will reopen on April 15th:
- Pioneer Church at Indian Creek MetroPark
- Meadow Ridge MetroPark and Rentschler Forest MetroPark flush restrooms
- Equestrian trails at Sebald MetroPark
- Drinking fountains
MetroParks Community Grant Program
Applications are now open for MetroParks’ 2025 Community Grant Program. Established in 2024, the program provides grant funding to local political subdivisions and 501(c)(3) organizations that offer public access access to Butler County parks and outdoor recreational opportunities. Organizations may apply for up to $5,000 for improvements to outdoor recreational facilities.
The 2025 Community Grant application is open March 3 - May 30, 2025.
Congratulations to MetroParks' 2024 Grant Awardees
-Oxford Township: $1,500 for Oxford Township Cemetery benches
-Morgan Township: $5,000 for Morgan Township Community Park benches
-Hanover Township: $5,000 for Hanover Park playground improvements
-Three Valley Conservation Trust: $5,000 for Ruder Preserve boardwalk improvements
-Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park: $5,000 for Fortified Hill benches

Voice of America MetroPark Cross Country Trail Closures
Portions of the Voice of America MetroPark Cross Country Trails will be closed for trail rerouting work. Trail closures will be marked with signs and barricades.
