Timberhill MetroPark

Timberhill MetroPark is a 198-acre camping facility dedicated to organized groups like scouts and youth groups. Timberhill boasts open fields, woodlands, hiking trails, and unique camping amenities. The area provides an environment where people of all ages can foster independence, respect, self-confidence, leadership, teamwork, and an appreciation of the natural world.

Timberhill MetroPark is also home to the newest segment of the Great Miami River Trail (GMRT), which opened in 2022. Trail users can park at Timberhill MetroPark to access 11.3 miles of the GMRT which travels along the river south through Rentschler Forest MetroPark to Hamilton.

In January 2024, MetroParks opened a new entrance for Timberhill MetroPark at 5400 Timberhill Dr. Hamilton, OH 45011. Access to the park is now available through the Timberhill neighborhood, 1/8 mile west of the former park drive. Please be aware that the neighborhood is an active construction site with large trucks and occasional temporary access restrictions.
